Welcome!

Welcome to the Charlotte Bay Chapter, National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR or DAR). Our chapter serves the Charlotte Bay area of Southwest Florida. Located in Charlotte County, our membership represents the communities of Punta Gorda, Port Charlotte, North Port, Deep Creek, El Jobean and parts of Englewood. We have several members and associate members as well as many prospective members going through the application process.  Since our members’ total number changes from day-to-day, feel free to contact us if you would like an exact total for today.

Founded in 1890, the DAR is a women’s volunteer service organization with more than 1,000,000 members admitted since its founding with numerous chapters in all states and many international chapters as well.  Committed to promoting patriotism, preserving American history, and securing America’s future through better education, the DAR is a dynamic organization for women.
