About Us

Cora Stickney Harper Chapter, NSDAR, has been serving Fort Pierce, Florida since 1914. We are a non-profit, non-political, 100% volunteer women’s service organization dedicated to perpetuating the memory and spirit of American independence, promoting education, preserving America’s history, and fostering patriotism. We are one of the longest serving DAR chapters in Florida and are now nearly 100 members strong. Our members are women who are engaged in community service, preserving history, educating children, and honoring and supporting those who serve our nation. We make a direct positive impact in the lives of veterans, students, and citizens in Fort Pierce and the Treasure Coast area. Our members range in age from 18 to 99 and bring a wide range of skills and experience – from college students, women in the armed services, professors, teachers, government officials, and professional mothers to retirees.

If you live in the Fort Pierce area and believe that one of your ancestors may have served in the Revolutionary War, we encourage you to learn more about our chapter and the exciting things we are doing. And, of course, we would love for you to join us!

Upcoming Meetings
